Meet Susannah

Prior to commencing a career as a solicitor Susannah worked as a law clerk for a solicitor at a criminal defence firm in Brisbane for a period of 15months. She then spent a university semester abroad studying Law in Sweden particularly ‘international criminal law’. Following her return to Brisbane and graduation, she worked as a legal support officer at the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Susannah then travelled to Canberra and spent a year working at the Department of Home Affairs completing a graduate program, working in areas of legislation, migration litigation, legal advice and civil litigation. Susannah took on a permanent position in the civil litigation team, where she worked on matters relating to coronial inquests, public interest immunity and civil disputes involving the Minsiter’s Office or Australian Border Force. During this time, she was engaging with a variety of Commonwealth agencies and Australian Border Force Officers.

Whilst Susannah enjoyed her time in Canberra and working for the Commonwealth, she has a passion for criminal law and was seeking a career as an advocate.

Outside of work, she enjoys sport and loves to travel. As well as spending time with family and friends.
