Meet Nicola

Nicola is a dedicated member of the Family Law team at Creevey Horrell, focusing exclusively on family law matters. Before joining the firm, she worked in Central Queensland alongside a well-respected Independent Children’s Lawyer, handling complex children’s matters before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

 

This experience has given Nicola a deep understanding of parenting disputes, particularly those involving intricate legal and family dynamics. She has represented clients at both interim and final hearings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, advocating for their rights and the best interests of their children.

 

Nicola is committed to providing clear, empathetic, and realistic legal advice, ensuring her clients feel supported during what can be an emotionally challenging time. She takes great satisfaction in achieving positive, lasting outcomes for families.

CAREER HISTORY

Before joining Creevey Horrell Lawyers, Nicola practiced as a solicitor in Central Queensland, gaining extensive experience across multiple areas of law. She focused on parenting and property matters, represented clients in criminal law cases before the Magistrates Court, and handled domestic violence matters.

 

Additionally, she worked alongside an experienced Independent Children’s Lawyer, assisting with complex parenting disputes before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. This diverse background has equipped Nicola with a well-rounded skill set, particularly in navigating sensitive and high-conflict legal issues.
