Meet Ashlee

Ashlee specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, focusing on civil litigation and criminal matters. Drawing on over 12 years of experience in policing, prosecutions, and regulatory roles, Ashlee has cultivated a unique skill set that enables her to provide clients with a comprehensive and robust approach to navigating legal challenges and achieving practical solutions.

 

Ashlee was formally admitted to the legal profession in 2024, marking a significant milestone in her career. Her passion for justice and commitment to open and honest communication define her client-centered approach. Ashlee’s extensive experience includes instructing counsel in Supreme Court and District Court matters, as well as handling mentions in the Magistrates Court. These experiences have laid a solid foundation for her practice, characterised by strong advocacy, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients.

 

Relocating to Toowoomba from Brisbane and originally hailing from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Ashlee is now embracing a rural lifestyle, establishing her property and caring for her animals. While serving a diverse range of clients across South-East Queensland, including Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, she is also building her presence in the Darling Downs agribusiness and rural sectors, where her legal expertise is proving invaluable.

CAREER HISTORY

Ashlee brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked across various legal and regulatory positions in both the public and private sectors.

She began her career with the Queensland Police Service as a Legal Administrative Officer & Client/Station Support, where she gained firsthand experience in legal operations and client support within law enforcement. She then transitioned to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Department of Justice and Attorney-General) as a Legal Support Officer, assisting in case preparation and providing crucial support to prosecution teams.

Ashlee later took on the role of Licensing Officer in Harm Prevention and Regulation at the Department of Justice and Attorney-General, where she was responsible for regulatory compliance and licensing matters. Following this, she joined Creevey Horrell Lawyers as a Law Graduate, further developing her expertise in legal practice.
